What is mango seed butter and why does it work on lips?
Mango seed butter is extracted from the kernel inside the mango seed. It is solid at room temperature and contains a high proportion of oleic and stearic fatty acids — the same types of lipids found naturally in lip skin. When lip skin is dry or chapped, the surface lipid layer is depleted. Mango seed butter replenishes it, which is why it repairs rather than just coats.
Can I apply it under lipstick?
Yes. The formula is non-greasy and absorbs well, so it doesn't cause lipstick to slide or bleed. Apply, wait about 30 seconds, then apply lip colour as usual. It can also be used at night as a repair treatment without any lip colour on top.
How long does one tube last?
With 2–3 applications per day, a 13g tube lasts approximately six to eight weeks. The two-pack gives you a backup tube or lets you keep one at home and one in your bag.
Is this suitable for very dry or cracked lips?
Yes. The mango seed butter is the active repair component and works best on lips that genuinely need it — dry, flaking, or cracked. For normal, already-hydrated lips, it functions as daily maintenance. Apply consistently over several days to see the repair effect on chronically dry lips.
